Rare to see two cour animes nowadays, things like Mushoku Tensei are more an exception. Will the new season also be that length?

Either the light novel or the manga must be crazy popular since the first season getting 24 episodes was already a surprise, let alone a second season.

Well, this is a surprise. The WN only goes to the end of this season. I figured there was more source material.

Or Crunchyroll is funding the production. People tend to forget that Crunchyroll has money.

Well Maybe because the source material is crazy popular and Kodansha is in production committee..

Well they almost have 8 Producers (Of course they have money)
Producers:
1. Lantis
2. Kodansha
3. Nippon Television Network,
4. Sammy
5. Crunchyroll
6. ADK Marketing Solutions
7. Bandai Namco Filmworks
8. Bandai Namco Music Live
9. Saber Links
Maybe Because they did very well on Crunchyroll and JP streaming services and TV

Saber Links is not part of the production committee, SL is just in charge of sound production. Also, Bandai Namco Music Live is the parent company of Lantis.

Dang 2-cour and a second season? That's great!

I hope the key visual means Marina and Silk will be getting more development because Rain kind of hijacked this entire season as the Main Girl.

That's weird because MAL listed them as producers so it's basically like this
1. Bandai Namco Filmworks
2. Nippon TV Housoumou
3. Kodansha
4. BN Pictures
5. Bandai Namco Music Live
6. Crunchyroll
7. Sammy
8. ADK Marketing Solutions

I found that MAL is bad website because their database is ass and need to be updated

I know 3 of them are owned by Bandai Namco Holdings. Also Lantis is just a music label of Bandai Namco Music Live and Saber Links is only involved in sound production. Also it's interesting becouse i didn't know about that after the research.

I'm glad for the fans that enjoyed this series. As for me I'm not complaining, watched it and was an solid mid/ok show but I'm not particularly interested on it's continuation.

Yeah for me it was mid too, there were some good ideas like the streaming and the nature of dungeons as places where different worlds are pushing in that if not checked could destroy the world. However it was a straight up harem show in a bad way, and the script and story writing wasn't great. There are shows out there even from this season more worthy of getting a second season.

Agreed that it was mid. I pretty much only watched it to see Rain and Jamie. Last arc was zzzzz to me.
