Studio KAI didn’t really say why they delayed Sentenced to Be a Hero to January 2026, but if it means the animators can work at a better pace and bring out their best, it’s totally worth the wait.

Honestly this doesn't surprise me considering the level of animation from the trailers.

I bet you got that info from SugoiLite or one of those fake leakers. I’ve seen them get exposed so many times, I don’t believe a word anymore. It’s not even just SugoiLite — most of the Twitter leakers are basically clout-chasers pretending they have inside info. The funniest part is watching people treat these fake leakers like they’re legit — even when authors themselves have called them out for lying.

Real insiders drop actual info — studio names, episode counts, air dates. Fake leakers? It’s just 'soon' and pure guesswork.

Yeah, when you watch the trailer and everything looks polished, it shows how much passion went into the project. Giving them extra time was probably the smartest choice — just imagine how different Jujutsu Kaisen S2 would’ve been if they delayed it.
