That’s so sad. I always liked his Gary Oak.

And we've also lost Madeleine Blaustein, the original English voice of Meowth (James took over the role after Madeline.) I'm not ready for so many voices from my childhood to be gone... |

Dang. James was one of the OG Pokemon voice actors and the longest running actor on the show, not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of dub scripts he wrote. He was part of Ash's journey from the very beginning to almost the very end. The English dub wouldn't have been nearly the same without him. RIP.
