OK, so this kid will become a "were-Godzilla" (like werewolf but replace wolf with Godzilla), and Orange studio (the same studio behind Godzilla: Singular Point) will be co-producing this, huh. So I assume this new Godzilla anime series will also be pick up for Netflix (assuming that will happen).

As a fan I will inevitably watch whatever Toho throw at me, but I do hope it at least has an actual Godzilla in it.

I dunno, the spotty quality of Godzilla anime and the concept of a human with Godzilla's powers...I'm not sure how to feel about this.

A Human becoming Godzilla... OH I LIKE...I am looking forward to this... I wonder how well the Transformation will look like if the Boy use to be human then something happen that gave him such abilities... oh yeah I am so looking forward to this.. but it will take a long time to see it come to fruition.

Ok, so we're getting a new anime, and Singular Point is left without ending... they could at least tie it in somehow or something, i dunno... and the MC getting Godzilla's powers seems a bit cliched, even if it's a first in the franchise, I hope there's some twist to this. Will watch regardless.

This is a bad idea. The last thing the Godzilla franchise needed was the cliche "Underdog boy tries hard" storyline. Not all monsters need to be humanized.

Assuming all the Godzilla monsters get the "humans channel their power" treatment this sounds interesting at the very least. No telling how good it will be, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

I don't understand why instead we wouldn't just continue Godzilla singular point. It was good if you don't continue it I'm guessing I'll be looking at the same result of me being upset I started something reality itself won't let me finish with this new series after just a handful of episodes. I enjoy that anime became mainstream but we need some final fantasy lvl dedication on a project instead of that Netflix lvl energy.
Tired of everything just stopping production because it was 3 percent more successful than _______ name here. |
