well, I'm going to update. since my last pic post about 2 or so months ago, my anime hasn't changed too much (but I've overall sold more animes than I've brought in for a change), but the shelving unit did. I'm also going to put up my papercrafts and videogames, mostly because I can.
Overall anime: http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000625.jpg GB, GBC, GBA, DS games: http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000632.jpg basically, the GB/GBC games are in the Hitmonlee and Charmeleon bags, the DS games are in the Rayquaza tin, and the GBA games in the grey tin. they all fit inside the Zelda tin. Papercrafts: http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000630.jpg http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000631.jpg PS2 games http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000633.jpg 360, Wii, GCN games http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii19/buttersthecat/P1000634.jpg |

Yea I know its not much, but a lot of hard to find anime that I enjoyed back in the Block Buster days.
1st half of the manga collection http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0208.jpg 2nd half of the manga collection and some soundtracks http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0209.jpg 3rd half of the manga collection and some soundtracks http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0210.jpg Bootleg version of Maetel Legends (artwork is better than the real thing.) along with some hardcover boxes of Bubblegum Crisis. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0211.jpg 1st half of the DVD collection http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0212.jpg 2nd half of the DVD collection http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0213.jpg A really bad close up of 1st half of VHS http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0214.jpg Another angle of it http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0215.jpg 2nd half, missing vol. 3 artbox of bubblegum crisis and vol. 2 artbox of bubblegum crash. The three VHS that are pretty much white is Devil Hunter Yohko. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0216.jpg 3rd part http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0218.jpg Bad close up of 4th part http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0219.jpg Bad close up of the 5th part http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh309/DJ_None/100_0220.jpg |

Indeed they are, and they're fun to watch for the nostalgia and well, not much else. spoiler[21 entire episodes of fighting with Buu and they still don't defeat him by the end of it]. I can't see myself really enjoying it again even if I were to watch it uncut and subbed. And who knows if I'll ever decide to buy the rest of the Gundam Wing DVDs. The Bandai Anime Legends collection looks more appealing with it's pricetag, but buying it will mean that I'll have two GW Operation 2 DVDs. I'm glad it was able to bring back some of your memories. |

Why don't you take out the yellow price Ebgames/Gamestop stickers? They ruin your collection. |

Do the regular dvd covers fit in the thin cases? I would think they are too long to fit properly. |

I plan to take them off, but I need to test the games out first. I got them recently with Gamestop's buy 2 used get 1 free deal and I've tried most of them except the Prince of Persia 2 and 3 games. They'll be gone eventually though, I just like to make sure I can return them for a couple weeks is all. They also tell me what I have yet to play. And that orange sticker on the side of Wild Arms 3 is near impossible to get off, it annoys me so much. I might just have to switch cases for that one. The orange side stickers on the anime are exactly the same, they're made of some wonder stick material that will attempt to make the case look worse upon removal, very annoying. |

There's a brilliant little concoction called "Goo Gone" that unsticks the most stickiest sticker stick. It can be purchased in regular drugstores and I highly recommend it. Just be careful to remove the paper cover insert if it's possible to prevent the Goo Gone from getting it wet and possibly staining it. |

I had to crop about a half an inch off the dvd covers. It seems the be the best solution for me, on the entire space issue. I just couldn't go the cd binder route. |

Thank you, I got some about an hour ago and took it to 4 cases and it works quite well. You can't see this in the picture, but since I got the Key DVDs at Gamestop and they now insist on putting those nasty clear circular stickers all over them, they left a horrible stickiness on the cases. Being in a house with cats, setting something down on a rug for even an instant will coat it in fur. This actually removed the stickiness from the cases and now they can't get any more fur all over them. In my spare time, it will be taken to the rest of the sticky cases, thank you! |

'Kay, so save for some Miyazaki films that are being borrowed, and some old VHS of Pokemon that are buried somewhere, here's my meager collection:
The few manga I have coat the first end of the shelf http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/Husse/P1000423.jpg Beyond that, I own more anime http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/Husse/P1000424.jpg Well, at least enough to overflow to another shelf http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/Husse/P1000425.jpg And that's my schoolbag. Heh. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/Husse/P1000429.jpg I originally put that bag there to cover up the non-anime VHS movies that compose the rest of that shelf, but since it wasn't in any pictures anyway, I gave it its own. My boyfriend and I cosplayed as Wolfwood and Milly at MTAC, so I bought the bag there to remember it by. That and Johnny Bosch signed it. A wonderful memory. (And for good measure, I stuck a plushie in the frame. Guess who?) I actually own way more American movies than anime. That's my OTHER fandom, but movie fans are a wide-ranged breed, and the forum species are either snobs, or slobbering blockbuster-hounds. So I spend my internet time here. You may be able to tell from these shelves that I'm picky. I'm not a collector, and I don't have the money to be a collector. I only buy what I absolutely LOVE and is long (Wolf's Rain and Fullmetal put me out of pocket mucho, but are worth it) and/or what is short and cheap enough in concordance with being very good to buy. (The Cat Returns, Gunslinger Girl) I don't leave series incomplete. (Beck's being borrowed,) so if I want to buy a show, I have to consider how much the WHOLE THING costs. EDIT: Aw, crap, I have to explain the Digimon things. Um...are they considered bootlegs if you made them yourself? My sister loves them, though, and two of her friends watch it with her when they come over, so I'm happy she's happy. I wish you could see the covers. They're really very cute. EDIT AGAIN: I thought I should also add that, in my defense, with the exception of kiddie shows, I've only been watching anime for three years and have only been buying it for just over a year. So, it's a respectable size given the longevity of my fandom, right? Right? |

Not at this moment, I just finished Bully: Scholarship Edition. I've beaten the first POP game (because I've had it for a few years now), but I just got POP 2 and 3 recently. Gamestop's buy 2 get 1 sale made me get quite a few games, but since its the summer and blockbuster games usually wait for the winter anyway (at least in America), I use the summer to get older games that I skipped the first time or play games that I didn't play very much. I'll get to POP 2 and 3 evetually, but Okami is in the PS2 right now. |
