Ok just to warn you again this topic has mayor spoilers of the series
. . . . . . You've been warned. OK so I just finished watching the Slam Dunk series. First of all, TOEI THANK YOU. I cant even begin to tell you how I enjoyed that series, and Im no fan of basketball, thats why before I never thought of picking it up, but the characters, their interactions and even the matches were exciting, (though admitedly 5 episodes for 5 mins of a game tests a fans patience) Hanamichi is one of my all time favorite characters for sure now, I think i lauged out loud almost every episode. Well I could go on, but.... . . . . . SPOILERS*** I saw the final episode, and like most fans i was like......WTF? It just ended before they even went to the nationals. just like that.... Im curious if anyone knows what happened, maybe to the mangaka, maybe a budget issue (the animation was amazing by the way) I heard in one forum they canceled it because it wasnt popular in the US or Japan...na a I mean it even came out with four movies. ....SO what happened, any chance well be able to have closure with this series?
