In before it utterly fails because of his anal-retentive manner. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard he disapproved of the Sunrise movie, which I found to be one of the better theatrical films from that period, despite it's short running time. Better than F91 or Char's Counterattack for sure. Either way, a real shame they weren't able to adapt more the manga.

I keep hearing that Five Star Stories is all kinds of awesome, so I'm going to try giving it a look. This news has this fan of mecha and sci-fi very interested as well.
