What are your choices & opinions on this?

I would LOVE to see all 3 Saber Marionette series redubbed with an official cast compared to a new cast of voice actors for each series.

Crest of the Stars, the dub was Horrible! Ocean used that annoying Wordfit software to match each dialogue with the characters lip flap but they all ended up sounding like William Shatner. Banner of the Stars was much better after they dumped that wordfit system

This is why I haven't finished watching the series. I know each installment has a different cast and that will drive me nuts, especially since I loved the Ocean Dub for the first season. Ah My Goddess does the same thing, but for whatever reason, it's much more tolerable. I guess because the actors do at least sound similar.

As for the question at hand, I'd like to see Strawberry Marshmallow redubbed. It has my biggest pet peeve for dubs by being just plain lazy. What I mean by this is that besides the fact that there's a lot of English speaking mixed in with the Japanse, the dub doesn't reflect it since all they speak is English. I'd love for Ocean to redub this and grab a French speaking actor and change the English references to French. Sure, the "Coppola" joke won't be as funny, but at least the language crossover will be present. Actually, now that I think about it, it could be funnier since his name is Francis Coppola. Ana would be France's Coppola. I'm a genius.

All of the Yu-Gi-Oh series and Shaman King. I wouldn't mind the 4 Kids VA's coming back to reprise their roles since they actually tried to act for those series, but I more or less just want them uncut.

Hopefully 4 Kids will get on bilingual releases next year, after they get Toonzaki fully set up...

Here is hoping for that as well! Especially if they leave it un-cut. I would definitely buy it in a heart beat. I don't mind the dub much but would love to see the original on DVD, or atleast an un-cut dubbed version.

To be honest I've never really seen the series and the different cast thing didn't help. Speaking of which I don't think Bandai sells DVDs of Saber Marionette that much anymore.

Well anyways, here's to hoping that Media Blasters will re-licence all 3 series & redub them. (They have the rights to Saber Marionette R.)

Don't get me wrong. As much as I love how Digimon was like the only toyetic franchise that had a studio who gave a crap about actual acting in the 90's (whoo! Saban! and Disney too I guess) I still would love a dub that was more closer to the original....

Or like Digimon DVD's in general

Case Closed. I think if the early seasons had a dub more like the recent movies(Less accents. Less cheesy jokes.) my enjoyment of that dub would increase.

I would consider watching more of Hellsing if the dub performances of certain characters were rerecorded in a more sympathetic fashion, though one suspects such an alteration would be to the detriment of the series' success within the largest English-speaking market.

The most obvious one right out of the gate. God, that is the worst.

My choice really isn't that bad: Ghost in the Shell. Now, for the time I think it was easily the best dub ever made, but they've come so far in the past few years (though, honestly, they're starting to head back in the wrong direction), that I think a new dub with the Stand Alone cast is called for. Even those voice actors who were already in the original dub are much better than they were back then.

Honestly, an uncut, redub of Cardcaptor Sakura would be lovely. Of course, it's unknown if this will ever happen, but it's always a nice thought to bring to the anime table. Anime hyper

My new and personal redub now is actually Vampire Knight. Not really for the translation purpose (although honestly, some of the translation could've been done better), but really because I felt like almost everyone in the dub acted so subpar and it made me feel incredibly idiotic while I was watching the episode I did. Some voices didn't fit the characters, lines were spoken so slowly as if the actors were speaking to third graders, and overall it just made me so angry and turned off that I couldn't stand the dub after Episode 1 and had to change it over the subtitle track right afterward (I wanted to change it over halfway through, but I forced myself to keep at it because I thought it "might get better" - haha). I was honestly disappointed with Viz and Bang Zoom! for their dubbing Vampire Knight - I know they could do better than this.

Oh my god, yes this. This dub was so unbelievably bad, I thought it was 4Kids.

Even the DVD subtitles sucked! They were dubtitles! What is this, the early 90's?

Oh God, I second this motion! I hated how they made Yukito (pardon me, Julian) sound like a generic school nerd that would be used in parody shows. D:

The original Bubblegum Crisis. Or really, anything AnimEigo had dubbed. Those were horrifically bad dubs at every turn. I like the company, but their dubs are, wow, terrifying. Terribly wooden English voice acting marred everything they put out.

In fact, I have an article brewing for my blog about recasting the BGC dub.
