Whats this anime like, such as goryness, story and such things
also, I've read that one of the characters has a "breakdance-style fighting method" does it look cool or is it kind of dumb? |

It's pretty cool anime but no real plot. Also not much blood or gore. It's worth checking out since it has it's "COOL" moments and funny situations. The action is first class and overall the animation is smooth as silk and looks wonderful.
Only bad thing is that it's out till ep17 and the new station will not run 18 until it runs all 17 eps from start. |

on the review on this site it says that there is extreme violence and gore though....is that true...?

A few limbs get cut off, and there's quite a bit of red paint in some parts, but it's mostly in the beginning episodes and starts to die down as the series progresses.

it seems good, but i haven't seen it in stories, so ill prob have to get it off the internet then. the problem with that is just that i wanna see atleast the first episode, just to see if i like it

The first DVD won't be out (in America) until January. I'm sure you'll really like the first episode though. If you like it, please try, at least, buy Volume 1 when it comes out.

Man, I'm tired of all these fanboys watching the anime for free and complain that it doesn't meet up to thier standard. And then they complain that they can't see more new episode for a while. Unless you're actually paying for the dvd, than try not to complain so much. |

I believe darkhunter is just commenting on how he disapproves of some peoples' behavior when it relates to an anime title that has already been licensed. From what I can deduct, MasterFuu is stating that since Champloo is now switching TV stations in Japan, it will only be longer until the whole series comes to R1 DVD (I hope). So, I agree with you in that MasterFuu is probably talking about the Japanese airing in relation to its U.S. relsease, but in darkhunter's case, I think it's just a clash of moral issues that can sometimes pertain to those who only download fansubs while not supporting the actual industry by buying a title legit, in which case I hope MasterFuu will be doing (buying the DVD, that is  ).

BSFuji has already been broadcasting Champloo concurrently with FujiTV. I have seen no official announcement that the series will be rebroadcast from ep 1 until it catches up again with the new eps. The only announcement I have seen was simply that all 26 eps will be broadcast on BSFuji, and BSFuji has already broadcast up to ep 17. Unfortunately, the BSFuji programming schedule does not go far enough to see where they will start in January. |

I'm sure you have.. now post a link to an official press release that says that. Even the release on ANN does NOT say that. I'm not saying it won't happen, because it might. But it seems everyone is concluding that is going to happen without any official statement that it will. |
