Title says it all. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, in your opinion, what characteristics are important in good yaoi manga?

As the #1 publisher of yaoi manga in the U.S., DMP could be a direction for you to go. What's "good" in yaoi manga is a totally subjective thing. I think our Juné imprint has a wide range of material to find something you'd like. For some, it may be the characters and their relationships, others romance, others maybe a particular art style by a mangaka. Personally, I feel it always comes down to story and characters, no matter what genre of manga you're talking about.
Works by Makoto Tateno (Yellow, Hero Heel) are quite popular for us. Also Toko Kawai (Loveholic, Cut). For many, Only The Ring Finger Knows by Satoru Kannagi is the "gateway" manga that got them into reading yaoi. I'd recommend poking around on our digitalmanga.com site, where there's story synopsis, preview pages - all kinds of stuff. eManga.com will allow you to try some titles online, and you can always follow through to yaoiclub.com for some nice discounts on our books.
