Nice license rescue, since I actually liked the first Appleseed movie more than anything else from the series. [Well, maybe I can count the Hypernotes and ID stuff...]

The MazinKaiser release is very relevant as people will be getting into Shin Mazinger, and thus more of the related materials. I always find it to be a good idea to try to time releases or re-releases to related new shows, because then the entire fanbase for it can swell up as a whole. Like if Robot Hunter Casshan was somehow re-released right now, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would try to get it because they saw the fansubs of the other show.

I know this re-release is probably more coincidence than strategy, but it was an interesting idea.

Isn't the Elfen Lied Collection released in 2006 still in print and in stock?

It's interesting to see a re-release of Colorful though.

I'm actually interested in Diamond Daydreams based on what I read, so I may pick up this release.

I kinda wish that Anime Network would show this on their On Demand channel though before the release though. XP
