Looking at this site, it would seem Pioneer has licensed the second Lupin series, the one from the late 70s, not the first one as the encyclopedia currently indicates.

yep, you are right. On that site, the synopsis for episode one of the second TV series matches almost word-for-word the synopsis of episode one on www.lupinofficial.com
