Is the Playstation Move controller a necessity, or is it optional?
I would be all over this if not for the fact that I already have the Playstation 2 version that I never beat.

I bought the PS2 version when it came out and got all the beads and stuff... but then my friend borrowed it and his brother broke the disc...
I got the Wii version after that, but I honestly hate the controls. I can't get past that last Blockhead and I always dodge on accident when holding the nunchakku... Ugh!
Still, while the motion controller isn't something I care that much for in many PS3 games that use it, I think it's PERFECT for Ookami. There's just something about the absolute control that makes it very enticing to me. I think I will be getting this, but I will likely buy the Japanese version, since I'd been hoping to do so someday and its finally region-free.

I have the Wii version and while I don't remember my playthrough since it was years ago, I lent it to a friend and we eventually found a way to get around that Blockhead because we just couldn't manage it. So there definitely were some flaws in the controller design, though on a whole I enjoyed it and can't imagine playing the game without a motion controller of some kind.
