looking for the cheapest place online to buy
DVDPacific so far at $23/£14, think it'll be difficult to find anywhere cheaper really live in the UK |

DVDpacific generally offer very low prices, some of which being almost suspiciously cheap. I have never shopped at such a place, but several of my fellow UK fans have used such a store on numerous occasions for inexpensive acquisitions.
As regards Clannad half-season collections, Rightstuf also list some rather decent prices, all safely below the £18 VAT limit (which I assume you're fully aware of). However, Rightstuf implement some rather strict regulations for international customers such as ourselves: you must scan them a copy of your personal ID in order to place your first order. At time of writing, Amazon US have some cheap new and used copies, mostly available from trusted sellers such as Secondspin and Moviemars. The choice is yours, but since none of these sellers accept PayPal, make sure you're able to pay using Visa or Mastercard. Note that international shipping is relatively inexpensive from DVDPacific and Amazon US. Regardless of your eventual choice, I would recommend that you order each half-season individually. Although you'll incur a greater fee for P&P in total, keeping each order below £18 (minus shipping) will hopefully prevent any unwanted interference from our friends at HM Customs. |

I've ordered from DVD Pacific a number of times and never had any problems.
That said, I don't know what their shipping policies are to the UK. |

i'll keep that in mind Zin5ki, and about Rightstuf, that does seem a little extreme. Cheers for the sellers headsup, never really used Amazon US, do they generally have a better selection then their UK counterpart?

One can often find R1 titles being sold on Amazon UK, most often directly from the R1 sellers themselves.
That said, Amazon US will most certainly have a larger selection in this regard; not all R1 items are listed by their sellers on both Amazon websites, so one will find a greater number of R1 products on the website dedicated to such a region. Of course, one must remember to be wary of bootlegs when using the Marketplaces. |
