Hi kids! Very Happy

Im back in the saddle again because I am currently working on a new project called Black Rose Kiss. Its "slice of life" story about three friends Sayuri,Hikari,and Mayumi who are in a band together (hence the title) and like "slice of life" goes the band goes through high school, their various gigs, and personal stuff in their lives including oddball comedy.

Im drawing Black Rose Kiss in 4-koma style and every 3 chapters I switch to a traditonal manga format that is a short story called Black Rose Kiss Live I am currently on chapter 4 right now but I'll be working on it more later today.

well this is a step in the right direction from my Lucky Star Doujinshi
to be honest I created this project as a way of expressing my growing love of rock n roll. by the way does anyone know of a place of where a dude can get his hands on a washburn or a gibson guitar because i so totally want one!

Let me just take a guess here. Maybe I'm horrendously off base here but this is the way your story comes across to me:

'Shawn' is you. Or rather, a fantasy version of you where you're a totally awesome and popular manga-ka just like you wish you were. You're in Japan and you meet and fall in love with your favorite character from your favorite series. The character wears a bunch of very specific outfits and eventually you kiss.

Look man, I'm not going to judge. Everyone has their own little fantasies. In fact, if you want to write/draw them out because you enjoy it then that's fine. The thing is though, I don't think most people want to read about them. If you're honestly interested in pursuing a career as some kind of writer, don't write yourself into the story. In fact, I'd encourage you to try writing something completely original instead of using other people's characters.
