How is Basara doing so well? I watched the first episode and thought it was sort of corny. I might have to give it another try and this time watch it subbed instead of dubbed to see if that makes a difference.

Not only did you post in a thread over 3 years old, but you made a comment about Sengoku Basara when it's not even on the list?

All I have to say is, what?

Also, Sengoku Basara sells because it's fujoshi bait disguised as video game shounen fighting stuff.

Ah, my apologies to Guren Alchemist4 then. I usually just have the forum open to see the latest news/articles/columns instead of using the actual front page.
