anyone know if this is any good? the plot sounds interesting, but i don't know how they could drag this for 26 episodes.

The first episode was interesting, if not extremely heavy on military terminology & protocol. I'd say if you have any taste for naval stories or World War II's Pacific Theatre, this one's a good bet.

The synopsis of this anime sounds just like an old movie (Final Countdown?,something like that) where a US super carrier is warped back in time just before the Pearl Harbor attack. Interesting how this modern Japanese vessel ( featuring American technology, mind you) may participate in the tide turning battle of the Pacific war. Doesn't look good for the home team!
