Apparently, this joke's been going around for a long time:
You know, that japan is a bit...loopy, zany, off-the-rocker, mentally unstable?
But, I feel anime is the leading cause of this, just take a look:
OK, so maybe they have an obsession with cuteness. But, hey, on the western hemisphere we've got some crazy obsessions to.

Need I go on?
Perhaps, America could learn a thing or two from Japan...and Anime:
Did you know, that in 2009 the homicide rate in America was 530,000. Compare that to Japan's: A measly 1, 097!
Do you think anime is to blame for our sterotypes on Japan?
I leave you with this:

How about you just ignore the stereotypes...I doubt the Japanese aren't that bothered.
Infact they got more better things to do then be worried about some silly jokes from teh internets and complain about it on forums.
Probably why they're so developed because they really can't be arsed to waste their energy talking about such things.
Do you think the Japanese get upset when the West gets stereotyped, I doubt it. Can you seriosuly imagine a Japanese person on a forum going on about how upset they are because of a drawing of a fat American with a cowboy hat eating a Big Mac?

This image envokes so much emotion, and then there's this:
Words cannot describe the emotion that I feel.

I was born in Colombia and during high school my drama friends and classmates would joke around and ask how my cartel was doing. I laughed and it didn't bother me at all. Its these stereotypes that every culture/race has. We need to learn to accept them and chuckle it off. If its something that is over the top and getting dangerously close to being hurtful then that's when we should speek up and tell people the facts.

And if speaking doesn't help just throw a rock at them. The best way to train people is by hurting them. Worked just fine when I was in school.

I was thinking more of a lazer gun and putting a shot in their leg. But I guess a rock will do for now.

Hey, don't get it wrong. You're training them up like you train monkeys; not making them crippled.

BTW, in case anyone hasn't figured it out, the first photo is a shop. There is no giant loli straddling a train line in Japan.

You just saved me a plane ticket to Japan to view that.

Thank god. I thought the truck was about to hit her delicate foot. | I'd worry more about idiots getting hit by a train trying to climb up to get a closer look at her pantsu.
