The Elfen Lied anime kinda ended off in a cliffhanger, which IMO kinda sucked. Although, I heard that the manga actually has a continuation of where the anime left off. Is this true?

Yes. The manga goes much further.

Not to worry. Even though the anime might have an ending that seems like crap to a lot of people, the manga usually runs a different course with more plots, characters, and shocking secrets. Yes, as with the above person, it goes further than the anime.

It's also a really good manga by itself. I think it has almost as many volumes as the TV series has episodes, so it would definitely go further. It's sort of like the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, if you've read it, where some parts are coincide but the plots start to deviate somewhere along the line.

Any word on weither or not this will be brought over to North america? I think of all the Animes I have seen this is one of the Manga's Iam desperate to see. So yes any information would help. Sorry I know I have asked this before, but um... I forget what post/thread I asked this in, so therefore can not check the answer there.

If you mean the manga starts off where the anime ended, no. It basically starts off the same way with some differences.

Nope. It doesn't look like it will be licensed any time soon, but that would be nice.

I meant that if the manga goes past the point of where the anime ended. My mistake.
BTW, is the Elfen Lied Manga over?

Yes, it goes beyond where the anime ends (again, with differences).
And yes, it has ended. I believe it totalled about 110 chapters.
