After looking at the encyclopedia, I had realized that the sequel to my favorite anime had become licensed by Funimation. I have no complaints with Funimation, but my primary concern is the dubbed voices and if they will choose new voice actors to take the place of the voices that many have grown accustomed to and love. Although many of the Voice overs have worked for both funimation and ADV i still have a feeling of uneasiness toward this considering the fact that many times when a sequel or other anime related to another is licensed by another distributor. Full Metal Panic The Second Raid is different and more than the others, but still the voices should remain the same in my opinion

As I mentioned on this thread, it was reported that FUNi will retain the majority of the English cash to work on FMP: The Second Raid. Considering that most of the English VAs that worked on FMP also do dub work for FUNi, it was basically a no-brainer for FUNi to hire the original English cast back, and a lot of them wanted to opportunity to reprise their roles on Second Raid. The only real problem that I see is whether FUNi will be able to retain Hilary Haag and Alison Keith as Tessa and Mao respectively. Voice-over work is Hilary's secondary career (meaning that she's not a full-time actress), and Alison from my understanding lives in L.A., so they might not be able or willing to make the long trek to Fort Worth, TX (where FUNi is based) to reprised their roles. Other than that, you shouldn't worry about FUNi retaining the original cast from FMP.

Well lets hope that the company just rents some studio time in LA and does the voice recordings there. They can just ship it off to Texas and edit it in.
