Most of the time, Anime show creators/authors try to make some relevance to a certain character's past which relates to the present conflict, correct me if I'm wrong. This kind of sucks for people who want to see these types of battles which originated years ago (in the show.) But, the battle never really goes down and it would have been an interesting fight. But the reason for this is, fans want the story to be continued and if the fight actually went down, no "interesting" events would go down later in the series. Sorry if the wording got confusing, let me know if I have any further explaining to do..
Now you have the whole idea of the topic. Have you had any experience with this during you're years as an anime fan? If so, Please explain in detail which is what I'm going to do shortley. Be sure to include: 1) This is real obvious: Show name 2) Characters involved 3) Relation to the past (What went down between these characters, or ancestors of them, which causes this problem to arise) Yeah...you already what to include i'm sure 
As some of you know, I'm used to be, still kinda am, a fan of Dragon Ball Z. Me, and another member of ANN were talking about DBZ and I mentioned one of the battles I wished to have seen. WARNING: This may not be needed, but this is the events leading up to the battle. Its possibly not needed but hey it's always good to include as much information as possible, right? Ah here we are, the Babidi Saga. Heres some background information to this saga 
*** The World Tournament was underway. Everyone was reunited once again (Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, Chi-chi, Bulma, Vegeta) you get the idea if you watched it. New Enemies: Sounds weird but it was all possible. There were two new characters never mentioned in previous sagas of the DBZ legends. The Supreme Kai, who wears Blue Cloak and has a white "mohawk" for hair and is purplish (just so you know) makes an appearance along with Kibito. No, they are not ordinary fighters there just for fame and money. They are here to seek the help of the Z-Warriors. As fights go on, Kai and Kibito stay a mystery to the others. Piccolo cannot shake the feeling he's getting from Kai. The Tournament is on, the battle which follows Krillin and Pinter features Piccolo and Supreme Kai "Shin." Piccolo gets that feeling again and decides to forfit the fight. My knowledge of this saga is fuzzy since it was so long ago, but I do remember most of the information, I appologize for info being scattered somewhat and not being explained in detail... I suppose I should have mentioned the fight between Videl and Spopovitch. In the previous Martial Arts tournament, Spopovitch was a normal fighter who was not nearly as strong as he is and looks now. He has an "M" on his forhead which stands for "Majin" I presume. Aside from me rambling on, he beats up Videl pretty bad and is a "hearless monster." Gohan has taken enough and combats Spopovitch in rage! It turns out that Spopovitch has not come alone. Yamuu is his partner and they team up on Gohan and sucks his energy dry (Gohan was in Super Sayan form) He is revived by Kibito. Kai, Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, and Vegeta follow Yamuu and Spopovich, Kibito and Gohan soon follow. Everyone is stunned by the location to which the enemies locate to. Especially Kai and Kibito. It was apparent to them that Babidi's ship was not there when they last looked years ago. (According to Kibito, Babidi barried it underground to avoid detection) Soon, Dabura (King of the Demon World) emurges from the ship along with Pui Pui. Babidi floats out and is given the energy needed to ressurect Majin Buu. Which is the goal of stopping Babidi and his henchmen (duhhh.) Babidi quickley destroys Yamuu and Spopovich and detects he has "company." Pui Pui and Babidi go into the ship while Dabura stands outside. He goes up to the cliff which hides the Z Warriors and he kills Kibito (he reappears later in the Buu Saga) next, he spits on Piccolo and Krillin which turns them into stone. Dabura needs to be destroyed for them to be restored according to Supreme Kai. Vegeta, Goku, and Gohan venture into the ship against the requests of Kai because these enemies are far more powerful than them. Guess he doesn't know the fighters (Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta) does he? There are three stages to Babidi's ship which must be conqured to reach Buu's shell. Stage 1 This fight is between Pui Pui and Vegeta. Not suprising, Vegeta is kicking Pui Pui's a$$ and Dabura suggests that they change the location of the fight to better fit Pui Pui's fighting. To bad that Vegeta has trained in such an atmosphere. The gravity level is high! To Vegeta, this is nothing. Pui-Pui didn't stand a chance. On to Stage 2.. Stage 2 Its Goku vs. Yakon. Yakon is a green monster who loves to be in the dark and draws his energy from light. Anyway, Goku super sayans it and Yakon begins to suck in all the light emerging from the powered up Goku. Goku's plan is to feed Yakon enough light which results in him exploding. This is what happened. Stage 3 The level that stuns Kai! Dabura appears. After long meditation, Dabura is ready to gain all the energy for Buu's ressurection. Gohan steps up to the plate and combats Dabura in a rockyland to avoid damage being done to the ship which may release Buu. While Gohan and Dabura fight, Dabura recognizes the hate within Vegeta and he then tells Babidi about this discovery. Dabura leaves the fighters and Babidi begins to control Vegeta. Pretty soon, Vegeta is now the servent of the Majin and calls upon Goku to be his opponent. Goku and Vegeta: Head to head There is two sides of exploiting powers of someone here. Babidi orders Vegeta to damage Goku which builds up power for Buu. And Vegeta only used Babidi to gain strength. Ultimatley Gohan and Supreme Kai battle their way to the last level of Babidi's ship. **** We're almost there. Sorry about the lengthy reviews again. **** The finding: Buu's shell is revealed Kai and Gohan find the big round shell which contains Buu. Kai wants it destroyed but Dabura and Babidi make an appearance. Buu is almost revived, Goku is taking heavy damage. Time is limited (dun dun dun...) The Plan Kai wants to take Babidi while Gohan combats Dabura. **** Here is the battle I would like to see, Babidi and Kai. Why would their be such a battle? Well, years ago Kai killed Bibidi whom was Babidi's Father. It's stunning that back then, Bibidi awakened Buu in his original form which was Kid Buu. But in desperation, Kai killed Bibidi and Buu was sealed away until now. I know now why this fight would not go down it was because Babidi would use his magic as a defense and the fight would be unfair. There was my explanation. If you wish to include something like that, feel free! But most people will take the easy way. Sorry for the length on this. But I hope I got the point across. (The question is in bold) If you didn't notice. It was asking what you're experience in this. Note: The anime does not need to be DBZ, I recommend that it is different. Thanks for reading! No it's not. The DBZ event I explained above really did happen in the series...and the question is asking if anyone has had that kind of experience before with any other anime. And if it has, explain it. So, I don't know where you're getting fanfiction out of this.

I thought I explained it...I'm talking about only ONE battle that I would have LIKED to see to have happened. Which is between Kai and Babidi. See, the battles I explained in detail were events leading up to the battle I would have liked to have seen. That was only pre-information which led to the event. What I was asking was, what battle seemed interesting to you but did not happen for some reason. Also, the battle/events do NOT have to be from DBZ, I'd expect it would be from a different anime. But, I used Dragon Ball Z for my battle of choice. Everything that is asked for is in my topic I wrote.
Do you understand now? Or do I need to explain more? |

So, basically, you're wishing that a fight in an anime happened differently, and then telling it. Which is still fanfiction. It also veers into the whole "versus thread" thing. Neither of those are really allowed on ANN, so unfortunately I'm gonna have to lock this thread.
