I want to go see it but I don't want to deal with the fans. I had to get a refund for the first film because the audience kept talking. I like to watch my movies in silence.

I was hype for the movie, but I read spoilers on /a/ and...ugh.
This movie is basically fanfic written by the original author. It's...not very good from the detailed spoilers I read. And there's way too much pandering. Nonetheless, I might go see it with my friend at Alamo Drafthouse.

Amen. That's why I always try for the deadest showtimes of the week, like on a Tuesday or Wednesday, midday to afternoon (get my matinee ticket price too!). I just can't stand a packed theater regardless of the film playing. Too bad that doesn't work with limited showings like these.
