Okay Oban is made in japan, has japanese ending and looks anime-ish although it is created by a french company.

since the japanese contributed a lot more to this franime can it be considered anime more or straight anime?

Didn't you just make another topic very similar to this one?

i think they decided to try it out in another market first. it airs in Japan next month.

i watched a marathon of it while back, and now i watch it all the time. Jetix usually shows a lot of crap, but this show is actually quite good. i like how the characters are well rounded. they're not like some super team, and they acutally do lose races(a little too much actually), have problems, etc.

This is a question about oban specifically. The other was talking about "franime" so read closely before saying these things.

I think the point he was trying to make is that you could have covered both topics with one thread since they are about essentially the same thing anyway. It's like creating one thread to discuss different types of cheese and another about how much you like cheddar; it is better to do both at the same time as it makes the forum less cluttered and doesn't make you seem quite so overeager.

Correct. Since Oban is really the only Franime anyone around here knows about, let's keep it all in one thread so we don't have as many topics to sift through as the days go by. This way, you get a higher chance of discussion from having two topics in one place.
