A few questions about Studio Ghibli.

Hi I'm asking these questions in regards to the Studio Ghibli franchise:

Why hasn't Disney picked up Ocean Waves and Only Yesterday for Blu-ray combo and DVD home video release?

Is The Cat Returns, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbors is the Yamadas, Tales from Earthsea, Pom Poko and Porco Rosso on Blu-ray combo and DVD?

And what is the home video release date to The Wind Rises?

And what was the other Ghibli title that Gkids picked up to be released this year?

Because they haven't. Why? Ask them. Then submit a press release for the site when you find out.

In the U.S.? No. And there have been no announcements yet.

It's still in some U.S. theaters, so probably some time later this year. But at least by the end of it. That's up to Disney.

The Tale of Princess Kaguya.

If you want news on Blu-ray release dates, I suggest you search for the movie by name on Blu-ray.com. They're do a pretty good job keeping up with release announcements and such.

Otherwise, keep your eyes posted on ANN's front page for more pressing anime news (yes, that includes Studio Ghibli titles).
