I was wondering when we'd get an update. At least when Sora No Oto fans received an update for the 3rd season, it was revealed it'd be a movie and they gave a date. However, a late Nov. 2012 ANN said we got a 3rd Dog Days season. Wonder what the powers that be are doing that it's taking so long for at least an expected season that it would fall under.

Great news as I still want my third season, the series needs to be completed.
I also noticed that will be my second series I'll own more than 2 seasons of. Most anime I like don't get third seasons.

By streaming, Crunchyroll has it, If you mean DVD/BD, while it lacks an official release, bootlegs are out there (this goes for many series).
I liked the bishoujo and the comic fantasy that falls in the area of Slayers.
If Funi pick it up (since they are licensing giants): For the first season, they could put a sign on the cover that says "From the director of Sekirei and Moon Phase" while the second season should say "From the director of Ranma 1/2 and Kyo kara Maoh!"

Was just wondering about the third season the other day when looking at my shelves and lamenting over only two figma being made. Come on Max Factory, why so stingy?

I am still kind of surprised that this series never came to the US, especially if they plan to make a third season, maybe that would be the kick in the pants to release the first two.

It is probably simply coincidence, but it seems anything from Seven Arcs is unlikely to see a western home video release.
The first two Nanoha series appeared here, but are no more. The two Sekirei series seem to be their only output that has seen sustained western availability on home video.
Thanfully, their TV series output since 2008 has been well represented by legal streaming.

That's really stupid IMO. I'd love to see the rest of Nanoha but apparently someone at Seven Arcs hates the USA. Oh sure, Dog Days can get a legal stream, but home video? NOPE!
