Wait a second, shouldn't the Pyscho-Pass Extended Cut not be considered a "new" series, and it's all the way at Number 3 on the overall list?

I am curious if Psycho-Pass New Edit will have as much new material as its ranking would seem to suggest.
If it does well, I could see anime producers getting in the habit of taking any successful title, tweaking it with some new footage and then re-releasing it for more sales. Why bother with even creating a similar story and hoping it will do as well when you can just recycle 90% of something you already have? A minor curiosity is that the overall and men's list have it as Psycho-Pass New Edit while the women's list has it as Psycho-Pass Extended Cut. |

Ugh SAO everywhere. Cancer.
My most anticipated is Shounen Hollywood, Ao Haru Ride and Zankyou no Terror. After watching most of this season, Free! and Barakamon take my favourite spots.
This LOL I'm also surprised that Hamatora is more popular with boys than girls.. It's like K-Project so I expected a larger female fanbase. |

Am not surprised that SAO is tops. Am surprised that Akame ga Kill isn't even top 10 considering how hyped up it is.
But Tokyo Ghouls is so low and where is Aldnoah Zero...? Really people  ?

Surprised to see Glasslip on the male list.
Glasslip and Blue Spring Ride are the only new series that I'm really interested in out of those that made the cut. Re:_Hamatora and SAO II are series I'm continuing as I did like aspects of the first season for both. |

Well Free is popular with men so that's no surprise. It is a KyoAni show, after all. Meanwhile Sailor Moon is for little girls which otaku probably don't bother with, especially when they have Pretty Cure to choose from as their obligatory magical girl show. |
