I can reach:

animenewsnetwork.com/hai-fidelity/

but none of the actual column articles are links for me.

Any way to get to them?

The links on that page work for me.
What happens when you click on them?
Edit: I did not read your post carefully enough the first time. It looks like your problem is that you are not able to click on them because they are just plain text in your browser.
I think that what I say here is still valid.

The links on that page are relative links.
The URL on the page would be "/hai-fidelity/2009-01-27" rather than "animenewsnetwork.com/hai-fidelity/2009-01-27"
My browser fills in the missing "www.animenewsnetwork.com" when I click on the link.
If yours does not then that is probably the problem.

The next step is to figure out why it is happening.

Edit: If that is what is happening then a temporary solution might be for you to add the "www.animenewsnetwork.com" to the front of the link URL.

I'm not even getting fragments of URL's in either firefox or chromium and "view source" only reveals a mass of javascript so I can't even do that.

Just a bit frustrating.

If you have the time and patience could you please copy and paste the links you are getting so that I could at least view the articles?

The links all seem to have the format:
"animenewsnetwork.com/hai-fidelity/" folowed by the date of the article in yyyy-mm-dd format.

So the first link, for Rozen Maiden Piano Sound Album is:
animenewsnetwork.com/hai-fidelity/2009-02-24

You should be able to use "animenewsnetwork.com/hai-fidelity/" and add the date to get to the page that you want.

I am using Firefox 32 with no problems.
Have you tried to disable the add-ons?

I've tried a few different browsers, and firefox (31) in safe-mode which disables extensions.

The listings I get have the year and the month but no day of month.

The day should be in parenthesis after the title of the article.
The listing for the first article is:
February 2009
Rozen Maiden Piano Sound Album (Feb 24)

If you are not seeing "(Feb 24)" then that is definitely too weird for me.

omiya, can you post a screenshot of what you see on

Halko Momoi: More&more Quality (Jan 13)

MUCC: Shion (Nov 4)
Orange Range: Panic Fancy (Oct 21)
We Love Cyndi (Oct 7)
Detroit Metal City: Tribute to Krauser II the metal mix (Sep 23)
w-inds: Seventh Ave. (Sep 9)
Anime Toonz, volume IV (Aug 26)
Yui: I Loved Yesterday (Aug 12)
Nightmare: Killer Show (Jul 29)
D'espairsRay: Mirror (Jul 15)
Denki Groove: J-Pop (Jul 1)
Hikaru Utada: Heart Station (Jun 17)
An Cafe: Gokutama Rock Cafe (Jun 3)
Ayumi Hamasaki: Guilty (May 20)

Just wondering if both, neither or only one set of links works...

Thanks mdo7, both sets work.

screen-shot is what I see.

I am however getting numerous 522 errors from cloudflare when trying to load the pages.

If I use the ANN Australian domain, ie insert .au after .com, as seen in the screenshot, then the same happens to me as well.

Try removing the .au from the url (ie switching to the US&Canada version of ANN) and tell us if it works.

Edit; I'm constantly being hammered by ANN is currently unavailable Confused

Same here, without the .au I often get:

Anime News Network is currently unavailable
Please try again at a later time.

@omiya Why are you resurrecting the Hai Fidelity forum threads, considering how old they are, and I also can't find any follow-up articles?

I checked the rules about necro-posting and it said that talkbacks of reviews don't have a time limit:

Quote:

In the Talkback forum time-sensitive topics have at most 2 months of shelf life before timing out.
Please note that reviews ARE NOT time sensitive, and thus are exempt from the above sentence -- THEY NEVER TIME OUT.

If it's an artist that I'm aware of or some other pertinent point, it seems fair enough to post.

I connected to the .au server and I see the same thing as omiya and Blanchimont.

The HTML for that page is different.
We are not seeing any links because there are none. They have all been removed from the page.**
The only HTML left is the header tags. What we are seeing is the headers without the content.

This is a sample of the HTML:
Code:

<h3>2009</h3>
<h4>February 2009</h4>
<h4>January 2009</h4>
<h3>2008</h3>
<h4>December 2008</h4>
<h4>November 2008</h4>

That is all that we see because that is all that there is.
There ain't no more,Smile

**[Edit]: That is assuming that the links were there at one time. It is also possible that there never were any links.
The basic layout of the page may have been done without the links, which would have been added later. Then, for some reason, the links never got added.
But, however it happened, all that really matters to us is that there are no links on that page.

That was a bug. I just fixed it. The archives on .au and .uk will now show the links as they should.
