Here's a question for everyone,
Considering the legit services available (Animelab, Hanabee.com.au, Crunchyroll, YouTube, Bustin' out a proxy to Hulu and Netflix) we're watching even more anime via streaming. What do you use, why do you enjoy using it and what would you like to see improved on the service? |

I've only tried Animelab and Hanabee.com.au - both seem to work alright under Chromium on Debian GNU/Linux with the pepperflash plugin installed (not sure if they require the pepperflash plugin or not). It has been a sore point with me that often these sites don't mention what their requirements for playback are, or for sites that require payment the full details of what payment methods are acceptable (try finding on the nico nico site where it says that overseas VISA/ Mastercard debit cards are not accepted). They're probably good enough to know whether I'd like an anime but to decide on getting physical DVD's / blu-rays, comparison stills to show the full quality available would be helpful. |
