I think it's pretty much confirmed an anime adaptation is happening.

This manga has been going on for a while and with 22 vol. there's plenty to adapt. If its true I want to see how the old manga art style will compare to anime's art.

Woot, another Rumiko Takahasi anime, about Takahasi characters doing Takahasi things at the Takahasi pace. Woo...

If the Magical Men (?) anime is just as cheesy as UtaPri, I'll be looking forward to it.

Especially if there's an otome game somewhere in the works. Because who wouldn't want to be romanced by a Magical Man who has a cutie pet Wombat, can put evil in its place AND has time to welcome you home with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies?!

What...?! Very Happy

Ooooh boy it's happening!!
I've been waiting years for a RIN-NE anime adaption since I started collecting the manga back in early 2011. I have collected every volume Viz has released so far.

Thank you for the YouTube clip. It was the highlight of my day at work. I can only pray that Crunchyroll will stream this gloriousness. The SM "Tsukini Kawatte Oshiokyo" parody has sealed this title as a must watch for me. Also, the blue stud is a totes McGoat.

When I stop reading the manga is when they announce the anime? Seriously? Laughing

Is this series really popular enough for an anime adaption? I remember it got a few promos around when InuYasha The Final Act began airing but I never heard anything about it since then, and that was over 5 years ago. Is this just getting an anime adaption because it has Rumiko's name on it or is it genuinely good/popular?

Here's to hoping Viz picks it up as I'd love to check it out.

I think that it must be.
The magazine would not still be running it after five years if it was not popular.

Unless Rumiko Takahashi owns the magazine. Considering how rich she is that would be a possibility.Smile
But I doubt it.

I think that the series really is popular. Not just because it has her name on it but because it is simply fun to read.

Like some others here I am mostly surprised that there has not already been an anime.

Well, don't get me wrong, I am surprised it took this long for an anime adaption too and I am excited.

I originally thought those short promos from back in 09 when InuYasha The Final Act was airing were promoting an anime adaption but that clearly wasn't the case all the way back then.

I'll either watch it or wait for a DVD/BD release from (hopefully/assuming) Viz when/if it comes out.

Well, seems at least not as popular as her previous works as this one took much longer to become anime.

Or they couldn't find an appropriate TV station timeslot for it since it's neither late-night fare nor toy commercial.
