The real Annabelle doll, alleged to be cursed, is at Monroe, Connecticut's Warren Occult Museum.

Much more than the movie itself, unfortunately.

Yep and it doesn't look anything like the movie version:

There's an episode that talks about the real doll on "Mysteries at the Museum." It's steaming on Netflix.

I love Mysteries at the Museum, I find this type of reality show is more authentic than other various reality shows.(I don't really watch reality shows outside of this, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars, but am going off the general criticisms of reality shows).

It's a fantastic show. I binged on it over a week or so and wish there were more episodes.

The Annabelle episode is pretty early in the season, one of the first 10 episodes I think.

Well, Annabelle is certain to give everyone a chill when it comes October...

Then again, the stuffed doll version of her may even be scarier because of how deceptively cute it looks.

I think they changed it for the movie to make her creepier, but it raises the question of why in the world anyone would buy her or accept her as a gift if she looks like THAT (only seen The Conjuring, so not sure if Annabelle addresses this). Then again I could say the same thing about the mother buying her son that nightmare-inducing clown doll in Poltergeist.....

The most recent new episodes were last month and I think they filming new ones until we hopefully have a new season in a few months.

it's definitely creepier. The Annabelle on the movie posters is so OTT "creepy" that it's actually funny.

I wonder how many Japanese people are aware of the story of Annbelle. Then again, a lot of people aren't.
