I saw this coming but my hype is all but diminished for it since they could have just done these instead of the filler acrs(i realize its after the battle but still) but i guess this gives me a reason to pick back up the anime since i read the manga but skipped out on the light novels. I dont look forward to the pierrot animation tho.

lol I called it in an article here either when the novels were originally announced or when Itachi's novel and/or anime adaptation was announced.

But the main question is; will they be a part of Shippuden or be standalone OVAs?

Yes! As someone mentioned earlier, hopefully they adapt the rest of them as well. I really liked Kakashi's novel. We also need Viz to announce publication of the other three Hiden.

So it seems we're getting five more months of Naruto. They've got maybe eight to twelve weeks of canon but about 20 weeks to fill.

Yup, so basically, we'll probably have another filler arc right after Kaguya, and before Naruto/Sasuke, then these will air too. So i will guess..Naruto Shippuden will end about...2030?

Now that I think about, I'm not too fond about how they will supposedly be releasing these. With 20 weeks left of content this year we ALL know that Shippuden won't be wrapped up by this Winter. So will these be stand-alone OVA? Makes no sense to adapt these as filler arcs (that are canon of course) before the series end. Unlike Itachi story where at that point it could be fit in anywhere. I guess we'll have to wait and see but these releasing this Winter is looking very bizarre. Still hype as hell regardless.

lmfao!
these guys were exaggerating how this adaptation takes place.
for me it is better to find out those skipping years how the story goes.
i am hoping they will also adapt Sakura's Hiden (This focus on how these generation build their own family and shit)

Talk about exaggerating. The only thing that is happening is Pierrot adapting canon material (yes, the novels are officially canon)

Even after Shippuden finally does end it won't be the end of Naruto so long as there are plenty of people that spend tons of money on everything Naruto it'll be here FOREVER!!! Laughing

why can't they just let this shitty series die already?
You stay so furiated and bothered by a series you can't stand. What compels you to reply in almost every single Naruto article? It must have some hold over you. Perhaps you should drop the ridiculous anger and find some chill.
