First off, hope he gets better soon, Mangaka or not.

This does make sense though, given how chapter 128 had several pages only as rough sketches. This does make me wonder about Black Clover though (in spite of me not being a reader) since I heard and saw similar things happen, although not nearly as drastic (BC only has a few rough panels here and there in comparison to the nearly 4 pages of roughs in MHA). Maybe it's coincidence but maybe the authors will say something should they feel like it or are able to.

If Bakuman was anything to go by, drawing 19 pages of manga every week is very strenuous. Hope Horikoshi recovers soon.

I hope that the author is doing well and able to recover soon.

This does make me question the tight schedules that manga are produced on though. It seems completely unnecessary to work so closely to the deadline that an illness will force production to skip a release.

Ya nothing but wishes of a quick and healthy recovery. I also agree him being sick makes sense. Half of last weeks chapter was unfinished sketches and bare bones layouts. This seriously was a sudden illness that came out of nowhere.

Well, I hope it doesn't turn into something more serious. I've been noticing a rash of illnesses and injuries among manga artists as of late though. Or maybe it's that publishers are becoming more accepting of allowing their illustrators some sick leave.
