JF felt boring this year. Then again I mainly look forward to the games.

Quote:
A large section of the hall was even dedicated to playing the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, as you can see below:

Were they all in sync when they said "ORE NO TURN! DRAW!" as they drew their cards?

Quote:
Pictured here is the editor of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, dressed in the same outfit as the female protagonist of the manga. (It was announced at the Jump Festa that an anime adaptation of the series will be airing in Summer 2018.)

Can't wait for it. Cool

Quote:
This was why it came as a surprise to me to see artwork from the Hokkaido Arc featured at all. Readers can make of that what they will.

The manga shouldn't be punished for its creators sin (?)?

Yea loved the JUMP festa game content this year. That MHA and Black Clover game both looked amazing. Excited for them next year. Hopefully MHA gets a confirmation soon.

Then we had the amazing MHA s3 PV and that cool movie visual. Really liked all the attention MHA received. 2018 year of MHA.

Honestly, Shonen Jump's success has always hinged on both the boys and the girls who adore the properties. So, I'm not surprised that women have a huge presence at Jump Festa this year.

The content that SJ is putting out nowadays, while undoubtedly still primarily targeted towards boys (the same what that shojou content is primarily targeted towards girls), has become far more inclusive in the fanbases that they draw to themselves. It's awesome and only a positive sign for the community.

Now, as to JF itself, I love the news on upcoming games and anime announcements and would be very interested in experiencing this for myself one day.

Those carnival games sound fun. Viz should get them for American cons!

Kudos to the cosplayers, especially the editorial crossplayers. Very Happy

Man this must be Japan's own Comic-Con right there given many famous celebs in the anime industry are there.
