There will be three different stage productions: Nogizaka46's stage musical and Keyakizaka46's stage show in 2018, and the regular Sailor Moon stage musical in 2019.

As a fan of Seramyu, I'm not sure what to think of this news. On the one hand, I'm glad to see the musicals continuing and I will be curious to see what new stories they'll do for the next musical. It will have to be an original story since the musicals already finished adapting all of the manga, and this will be some of the first new Seramyu content we'll have not based on existing manga content in decades. On the other hand, it's not going to be the same without the original cast who were as perfect as could be, especially the Outer Guardians. I was already just getting used to the second for the Inner Guardians. I really hope they will have professional musical actresses in the 2019 stage show and not J-idol singers which feels like it would be a rather cheap downgrade for the Seramyu shows to me. But I'm just not sure how I'm going to handle a Seramyu show without Yuuga Yamato as Tuxedo Mask as she was perfect in the part. I'm also confused if the stage show with the idol group will be an actual musical with a full plot or will it be just a show with singing and dancing like the Anime Matsuri event and the real musical is in 2019?

I'm looking forward to the Nogizaka46 musicals, and the new ones in 2019. I wonder if they'll reboot again, go completely original stories or try something like the Dracula storyline redone.

Well, we've had two different "original" casts for the Inner Senshi. I really liked the first girls better than the second, but I ended up disappointed with the musicals after R anyway.
I doubt they'll hire idols for the new musicals. Although we have seen some unfortunate drama with the casting before, so we'll see what hppens.
