Drawings of porn should never be illegal, but it seems like this guy had problems WAY worse than possession of loli hentai.

On the plus side, unemployment means more time to read loli porn. Be strong, Melonpan! Anime just wouldn't be the same without a weird Swiss dude licking his figurines.

I wouldn't say that. The article just said that someone from the US had been arrested for having this type of hentai.

thats just sad...i'd be just as guilty although unlike that dude i dont go looking exclusively for underage minors....from my own experience ,you cant tell me that a few characters from euphoria or imouto paradise are over the age of 18, hell a few look 11.

that is the unfortunate fact. that is why I try to get legal stuff here. Or if need be just buy it digital. People are so scared that you as a person might do something just because of the things you enjoy. To most people we as otaku are labeled as perdo's and other diragotory terms. That is a big reason why I keep my hobby mostly to myself. I am not out to hurt anyone so I like to keep to myself.

To be fair, if I was a customs agent who suddenly found 30kg of cartoon child porn on their desk awaiting inspection, I might want to ask a few questions before okaying the delivery.

Feel bad for Melonpan but at the same time, it's just another reminder that Twitter is available to everyone, including your employer. Dont post dumb shit on there that you wouldn't want them to see. Also it seems less like the content that got it seized as it was the size of package. They were probably concerned that he would try to distribute or sell the material and most countries have different rules for possesion than they do distribution.

66 Pounds? Jesus Christ, does he need that much doujin. You'd think there would be some rare consoles or something mixed in. That's just ridiculous and yeah greedy.

Jesus, 66 POUNDS OF DOUJINS?! How was he even able to lift that without his back going out?

Quote:
He was able to find gainful employment with the shipping company DHL within about a month, only to be fired on his first day of work.

I wonder why?[/quote]

66 pounds is pretty easy to carry on your back, or just push on a cart.

And if you do, make sure nothing connects your online identity (identities) to your real life one (this includes posting mugshots, of course). I've always thought it a dumb idea not to keep them separate.
