Barakamon is a lovely series. Too bad it'll be ending but I'm sure it'll be good.
With the young cast members growing up quickly, I suppose a second season of the anime would be too difficult to ask for? =(

I asked the director of the series about a 2nd series, he did not think it would happened and did not appear to want to direct another season.

Oh that's right, Tachibana went to a U.S. con fairly recently, huh. I didn't have my hopes up but that's still too bad to hear.
