Especially if they're currently running at Santa Anita. That aside, laminitis is a terrible disease that has claimed the life of even the legendary Secretariat. If they catch it early sometimes on rare occasions they can halt progression and the horse can live a comfortable life, but there is no cure for it and recovery is never guaranteed. |

That is so sad, she died relatively young actually.
I have been doing me research into the japanese race horse world after uma musume and it's sad that now she is in heaven with special week and king halo |
