That's unlikely, though both Alfred and Gebel from Curse of the Moon will be in the game. In the demo, spoiler[Alfred was a suspicious story NPC who seemed like he might have some villainous intentions, while Gebel was positioned as the main villain.] That said, the developers have promised one other playable character that people will find surprising. It could end up being Dominique, a popular NPC, or Bloodless, the vampire lady who is a boss in both Curse of the Moon and Ritual of the Night, though it's more likely someone far more strange and random given what the developers have stated. Especially since Bloodless would better fit in the free DLC "Boss Revenge Mode," which will allow you to control certain bosses. With all the DLC this game is getting, plus the expected size of its castle, it's going to have tons of content when all is said and done. (Part of that is because the "DLC" was originally planned as part of the main game, but got pushed back to deliver the primary experience without any further delays.) |
