This seems similar to Megalobox which was great in both story and art. Not liking the CG. It just looks bad.

You can thank Polygon Pictures, ruiners of things. They look like they’re rendering on the same PS3 dev kit Rooster Teeth uses.
They’re also handling the Pacific Rim anime, just in case you had any hope that would be good.

The manga this is based on actually came out before Megalobox back in 2012.
