I mean is there even a point in hosting an awards show when theres almost no movies currently being made? Who are they even gonna give awards to? Like 10 movies? Completely pointless imo

Well this is awkward, I do not take the Oscars too seriously but I've been watching the ceremony since 2012, sometimes I do not always watch the full show since due to the time zones between my country and the U.S. being too different the show always finishes way too late.
Still, perhaps since not too many films premiered in theaters the Sonic movie will win some awards, I mean the VFX artists deserve credit for fixing the original design

What racism?
Yes they’ve had a problem where most of the nominees in various categories have been white people but they gave best picture this year to a South Korean film that our president
complained about for winning for reasons.

Being made isn’t the same as being released.
