If only someone (Netflix, Amazon Prime, anyone?) would license rescue this show, as I watched the first two seasons on Crunchyroll and would love to see more of it. It’s very charming, amusing, and not a show to be watched when hungry as the food often looks delicious!

If you like Wakako-zake live action, you may enjoy Midnight Diner on Netflix. Not the same, but also not so far away, as a pleasant, feel-good, food-centric series.

Just a note: the five seasons of Midnight Diner on Netflix are listed under two different titles. Midnight Diner is seasons 1-3, Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories is seasons 4-5.
Also on Netflix is the fun series Samurai Gourmet, more SOL than Wakako-Zake and less dramatic than Midnight Diner... But still feel-good and food-centric.
And I wish Crunchy would license the rest of the Wakako-Zake live-action!
