Are these movies retellings of the series, or are they sequels to the TV series? Or do they fall into their own continuity? Because I didn't like watching the Bang Dream series, but I read the Roselia Stage manga and liked it.

These movies cover the Roselia origin story, which is the same story covered by Roselia Stage manga. This story actually originates in the mobile game (Girls Band Party), where all 5 bands have their origin stories introduced, but only Poppin Party's story made it to the TV series (Season 1 being a straight adaptation of this story). If anything, you could say that the Roselia movies take place around the same time as Bang Dream TV Season 1.

It's a mixture of both. This part appears to cover the Roselia Stage manga/Band Story 1 in the game, but also covers Neo-Aspect/Band Story 2 in the game (which, if I recall correctly, is after Season 2. The Bandori timeline is a bit wonky).
Part 2 appears to cover the three in-game events that make up Noble Rose/Band Story 3 (all post Season 3).
