Weird Age-Regression aside, am I the only one who thinks a 5 year old is probably too old for Day Care? And Pacifiers? I feel like you'd be in kindergarten at that point and binkies would be "baby stuff".
I'm probably still gonna watch it though.

Highly disagree with the age regression since so many reincarnation anime are under this such as Tanya + Mushoku Tensei is on there too. The series did state like those where they basically go back to being a young child/baby like those two.
As for the binkies..... I say go with it. Nothing in fiction is ever 100% logical.
