Making a really bad adaptation of Grimoire of Zero that was consisted only of its first volume, and there will never be a continuation of it. Still placing Zero and Merc back - cause they are still important characters of this sequel/spin-off. Expect anyone who has not even read the previous novels to even figure out what exactly happens in-between.
Well, now that's what I call a really bad take on promotion.

Kind of funny to see an anime adaption of a sequel series to a light novel with an unfinished anime adaption.

I'm excited to see Mercenary back but this just makes it more confusing why they didn't just make a season two of the anime instead of adapting this spin off material.

Yeah, I really liked the little we got of that and want more. They should bring back and keep going with the main series first, though I'll still check this out.
