Rest in Peace to all of them. Thank you for the good times.

Crazy how Betty White was the last addition to this all because she passed away on the last day of the year.

Rest in Peace to everyone on the list. I'd also forgotten that some of these people had died so it was a good reminder.

We have lost many talented and beloved people, I myself lost my father recently and it is difficult to overcome his departure. I would like to make a dedication to people who worked in the field of anime in Latin America who died last year:
Ricardo Silva, he performed various musical themes for shows such as Dragon Ball, Captain Tsubasa, Digimon and various cartoon shows and movies. He also worked as a musical adaptor and director and also did some voicework.
Toni Rodríguez, she dubbed various characters in different anime but she is best known for being the first actress to voice Misato Katsuragi in Evangelion.
Diana Pérez, she had several roles, but her best known was Jessie in Pokémon whom she dubbed since the beginning. She was also Luffy's first voice in One Piece (the 4Kids version)
Osvaldo Trejo Rodríguez, he was a young actor but he managed to land roles as the narrator in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Genya Shinazugawa in Demon Slayer and Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen
Raúl de la Fuente, he was the narrator in Saint Seiya, Ulysses in Ulysses 31 and worked in various animated movies.
Wolfang Galindo, he was a Colombian voice actor who had several roles in Hunter X Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin and voiced the title character in Speed Racer X.
Arturo Casanova, he voiced Gold Roger in 4Kids' One Piece, but he's more well know for having voiced Morpheus in Matrix, Winston in OverWatch and Uncle Phil in Fresh Prince.
Gustavo Carrillo, he did voices in some anime such as Ranma 1/2, where he voiced Kuno in a couple of episodes.
Abel Rocha, he voiced Shenron in almost all its appearances in Dragon Ball.
Herman López, he voiced Turtle in Dragon Ball, Cassius in Saint Seiya, Tongpu in Cowboy Bebop, Rei's grandpa in Sailor Moon, Yoshihiro Kira in Jojo, and also cartoon characters like the Mayor of Townsville in PPG and PPGZ, Otto in The Simpsons, Elmer Fudd in various Looney Tunes projects, Marlin in Finding Nemo and its sequel, Wolverine in the 90s X-Men, and many more.

My condolences to all the loved ones of those who have passed away. As well as the fans of those lost in the arts, anime included. 2021 was a terrible year.

I found out that Hideko Hirai died in 2021 at age 104. She was one of the first anime singers /voice actresses in the early talkies.
