Sounds interesting. I always felt Ito had a real good sense of establishing time periods in his stuff. Like, Occult Academy having character songs that were all popular around when the anime is set, or helping show Sword Art Online's world (though I didn't watch much SAO, but Ordinal Scale was pretty cool).
I'm interested in what happens.

Mind in gutter, I know, but Angsty Background Boy's pose and the art is a bit awkward, at first glance I thought his left leg was something else entirely...

I wonder if there's a specific reason it's set in the 90's?
It'll be interesting to see what Ito can bring to the table as a writer.
