Awesome looking forward to this I hope Netflix simulcast the two parts movies like they did with Seven Deadly Sins Grudge of Edinburgh, we just have to wait.

The Sailor Moon Cosmos movies look absolutely gorgeous and I'm so excited to finally see my favorite arc of the manga get a faithful adaptation. The Sailor Starlights look amazing and I love their transformations and I'm glad to see the return of the classic Three Lights songs. I wonder if they'll dub the songs for Cosmos like they did the 90s anime dub?

Mitsuko Horie getting recast will be bittersweet, but I LOVE this idea. Hayashibara was in the 90s anime, but just as Himeko in the S movie. I always thought it was a missed opportunity not having a VA of her caliber play a larger role.

Something I noticed that Ayane Sakura as Yaten sounds alot like Chika Sakamoto Yaten's original VA so thats pretty awesome

Same, but I think the reason she had such small role in 90s SM was because she was already too big for recurring supporting roles, if that makes any sense.
Or maybe she was just too busy back then.

She said that she was surprised by the change and because the Starlights got a bigger role in the anime than she intended but half of the things fans say she or ikuhara were supposedly mad about have been exaggerated by the fandom.

I hope Takanashi delivers a solid transformation theme for them. He's been hit or miss so far. Like Mars season 1 transformation theme was amazing, but the Outer transformation theme? Not so much.

I thought so too! They definitely seem to have been inspired by their original portrayals.

I could see either of those being the case. And I LOVE the OG cast so I don't mind who we got. It's just surprising she never voiced a Soldier or big bad.
