The light novels and manga are very sweet with our supposedly cynical heroine becoming a big sister figure to a seemingly endless amount of pre-teen or younger girls. (no, it is not lolicon). I imagine that the anime is similar.

It indeed is, it is a nice fluffy anime with only a few darker moments.
