Cobra´s writing is what it is (a direct Jump adaptation that actually concludes the first big arc at the end) but it is one of the best-animated shows of the 80s. It goes toe to toe with at least half the OVAs released back then. A shame that anime YTbers pretend that the industry started in the mid-00s outside of DBZ. Rose of Versailles holds up and Berserk 1997 is directed just like the 2nd half by Osamu Dezaki. Legend.
