Anime is pretty bad. It's also seemingly low budget. I'm not sure why I am still watching..

^ I'd suggest because it has an interesting premise, characters act somewhat believably and the adaptation is handling it reasonably well. As in, it is keeping the central mystery closely guarded while unfolding bits at a measured pace so it maintains interest rather than being obvious what will happen next. The artwork isn't all that bad either, just not "top tier" or anything close to that, but not awful...

Its not Failure Frame bad. And thats not Berserk cg bad. Its watchable. The premise will get a season 2 since there's only 9 volumes.
The anime's dub is a banger though oddly. I guess all the money from Our Last Crusade got shifted here last min. Funny how things work out.
